Please note: delinquent taxes

If your personal property taxes are delinquent on or before tax year 2020, you can no longer pay them online or through the Tax Collector’s office. Marion County has contracted with a third-party collection agency, American Financial Credit Services (AFCS), which specializes in government debt recovery. Delinquent business personal property tax, aircraft, boat, trailer, and motor tax may be submitted to AFCS for collection pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated § 26‑36‑209. This does not include real estate tax bills.

If we receive a payment that has been turned over to AFCS, our office will return your payment so that you can pay directly to them. You can contact AFCS at 1-888-317-2327, option 2, or at www.afcsoptions.com.

When are my taxes due?

Property tax bills are usually mailed by the end of March and must be paid by October 15 to avoid a penalty. If taxes are not paid, license tags cannot be renewed and penalties will be applied. Partial payments are also accepted throughout the year on current taxes.
